Rich Herb, Lead Vocals, Guitar, Percussion
Rich is the co-founder of the East Rochester All-Stars along with
John Alfieri.
His love for singing started many years ago in school choirs and
when the Beatles showed up on the music scene, he knew right away
what he wanted to do. Rich has done voice-over work for local
TV advertisements, but admits that singing for the All-Stars is
his first love. Rich can also be seen and heard annually at Frontier
Field, singing the Star Spangled Banner.
Rich is the former lead singer for Goldrush.
Jennifer Thomann,
Lead Vocals
Performing started
for me at a very early age! After singing in school choir and
performing in the theatre for several years, I got the itch to
sing with a band so I auditioned with the Skycoasters and sat
in with
the band while their lead vocalist recovered from an accident. That's
where it all started! Shortly after that I performed with a band
called "Bump City" or "Timepiece", depending on "the Gig". I started
my family in 2001 so performing had to take a back seat. The perfect
opportunity came up with the East Rochester All Stars and I couldn't
be more excited to get back on stage. Music is a passion...It's
how I express myself and connect with people which is very important
to me. When I'm not on stage I love spending time with family,
reading, and I own an advertising agency in Rochester so I don't
let the grass grow under my feet! I hope you bring your dancing
shoes because I plan on seeing you on the dance floor...soon.
Lauren Beikirch,
Violin, Guitar, Percussion, Vocals
Music
has been a passion for Lauren ever since she can remember! A 2003
graduate of Rush-Henrietta, she began playing the violin at age
10 and is honored to have had such a phenomenal group of teachers
during her musical training. While in high school, Lauren was
a member of the Rochester Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and was
a 2003 winner of the Eastman School of Music “Eastman Award”,
recognizing musical achievement. Throughout her orchestral career
Lauren has been fortunate enough to perform in Carnegie Hall and
various venues in Austria and Germany . She is thrilled to be
a member of the East Rochester All-Stars and is so grateful to
be working with such a talented and extremely loving group of
musicians. In addition to performing with the All-Stars, Lauren
has been a violinist with the Penfield Symphony Orchestra since
2004. In keeping with her musical life, Lauren plans to attend
Nazareth College in the near future to obtain her undergraduate
degree in Music Education.

"The Rock-n-Roll Trustee," John is a lifetime resident
of East Rochester with 35-plus years of experience as a musician.

who still makes a difference. John is a recipient of the incredible "Man
of The Year!" honor presented annually by the St. Nicholas
Society to a citizen who shows
great contribution
to the
East Rochester Community. The award was no surprise to the All-Stars
because to us Johnny has always been Da Man!

dream by playing with the All-Stars, and brings a lot of enthusiasm
for the music to the group.
Jerry O’Dell, Bass Guitar, Vocals
Jerry is in his 21st year as a history teacher and track and field
coach at Victor High School. However, music has always been an
integral part of his life. It started with his grade school days
of dragging around a dusty old bassoon and led to various other
instruments (much to the dismay of the music department at East
Rochester Jr./Sr. High School). It was the bass guitar that emerged
as one of Jerry’s greatest passions and it has led him to
numerous musical performances, recording sessions, and most importantly,
the East Rochester All-Star Band. The band has also opened up
numerous opportunities, by which Jerry continues to expand his
creativity as a musician.
Harvey Possemato, Lead Guitarist
Under the name "Harvey Band" this guitarist /composer
has released several albums. The album Crossfire received excellent
reviews from Vintage Guitar Magazine and extensive airplay
on many area radio stations. Harvey has taught instrumental music
at Gananda Middle and High School for 20 years.
His newest CD release: "Green Flats Road" – an
acoustic album – has just been released. You can check it

most when performing with the All-Stars. He has been involved
in the field of music education for the past 25 years and currently
